Personal Data Processing Policy

The policy covers data you provide when creating an account, placing an order and contacting support, as well as data collected automatically as you use the site. Consent to processing is given separately, by ticking the box at sign-up; the fact of consent, its date and the revision of this policy are recorded.

Contact data: name, email address, phone number, postal address. Account data: email address, password hash, order and payment history, sign-in log. Domain owner data, the composition of which is set by each zone’s rules: for .ru, .рф and .su this includes passport details or tax and registration numbers. Technical data: IP address, browser information, cookies.

Providing the services and performing the contract (the offer), registering and managing domains, settlements and payment documents, support and notifications about your services, account security and abuse prevention. The legal grounds are performance of the contract, the data subject’s consent, and statutory requirements.

Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. Domain owner data is kept for the life of the domain and for at least three years after it ends: that period is needed to resolve possible disputes over rights to a domain name. Payment records are kept for the periods set by accounting legislation. Once the period expires, data is deleted or anonymised.

Databases containing the personal data of Russian citizens are hosted on servers located in the Russian Federation (Article 18(5) of Federal Law No. 152-FZ).

Accredited registrars and domain zone registries — to the extent needed to register and maintain the domain. Payment providers — the email address and the payment amount, so the payment can be processed and a receipt issued. Infrastructure providers (server hosting, delivery of notification email) — to the extent needed for the service to run. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for third-party advertising.

Registering a domain in an international zone is impossible without transferring the owner’s data to that zone’s operator, which may be located outside the Russian Federation. Such a transfer is made with your consent and only to the extent the zone’s rules require. Owner data for the .ru, .рф and .su zones is processed in Russia.

Access to personal data is limited to the staff who need it for their work. Sensitive data — domain owner details and service keys — is stored encrypted, so a copy of the database does not by itself reveal it. Administrator actions on customer data are logged. The connection to the site is protected with TLS.

You may obtain information about the processing of your data, require it to be corrected, blocked or deleted, withdraw your consent, and require processing to stop. Requests go to support@regzone.pro and are answered within thirty days. Note that withdrawing consent to process domain owner data makes further maintenance of that domain impossible: without it the registry will not allow a renewal.

The site uses only technical cookies it cannot work without: the sign-in session, the cart, and your chosen language, currency and appearance. You can disable them in your browser, but signing in and checking out will then be impossible. The service sets no advertising or third-party analytics cookies — no third-party scripts are loaded on the site.

The revision in force and its date are published on this page. If a change affects what data is processed or why, we will notify you by email and, where necessary, ask for your consent again.
